What happens when I apply?

You begin with your email address, preferred cities and the way you would like to join Aurelia. After confirming your email, you can continue your application privately.

An Aurelia reviewer may approve, decline or defer an application, or ask for further information. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.

What is the difference between Approval and Full Membership?

Approval confirms acceptance of your application. For current applicants, it also secures permanent Founding Member recognition and priority, but it does not activate your account, unlock member features, publish a profile or authorise a payment.

You become an Approved Member when Aurelia opens in your preferred location. You may enter the private members' area, browse profiles and appear to other members according to your chosen visibility settings. You cannot send, accept or otherwise participate in Introductions. If someone requests an Introduction with you, Aurelia may notify you, but you cannot respond until Full Membership is enabled.

Full Membership includes everything available to an Approved Member and unlocks the complete member experience once the required identity and current-photo checks are complete. Members may send, accept and respond to Introductions, begin private conversations after acceptance, and use the other benefits included with their membership. Their profile displays its completed verification status.

Approved male Founding Members receive 3 months of Full Membership without payment, with Founding Member recognition and benefits in addition to the standard Full Membership experience. Approval and Full Membership do not guarantee a particular number of profiles, Introduction requests or matches.

Is women's membership complimentary?

Yes. Women's membership is always complimentary. No payment details are required when applying, as an Approved Member or when Full Membership is enabled. The same verification requirements apply before Introductions are enabled.

Is there a fee for men?

Applying is complimentary and no payment details are required to submit an application. Approved male Founding Members receive 3 months of Full Membership complimentary, beginning when Aurelia opens in your preferred location and the required checks are complete, with no automatic renewal. Once the required verification is complete, this provides the same core access as a paid subscription, alongside the additional Founding Member benefits.

Aurelia may offer a one-time complimentary extension where launch availability has been unusually limited. Any extension is discretionary, is not guaranteed and does not renew automatically.

After the complimentary period, men may actively choose $180 monthly, $455 quarterly or $1,640 annually. Prices are in USD and include any applicable tax. The quarterly option saves $85 compared with three monthly payments; the annual option saves $180 compared with four quarterly payments.

How are charges, renewals and cancellation handled?

Before any charge is authorised, Aurelia will show the price, billing period, what is included, whether the membership renews, how to cancel and any applicable cancellation rights. Submitting an application never authorises a charge.

Founding Membership does not renew automatically after the complimentary period. If a man then selects a paid plan, that Full Membership plan renews at the chosen monthly, quarterly or annual interval until cancelled. Cancellation stops the next renewal while Full Membership continues through the period already paid for.

Members may pause or end their membership and may request account deletion. Marketing emails can be unsubscribed from separately without ending a membership or application.

What does membership not guarantee?

Membership does not guarantee access to any particular person, a minimum number of introductions, a match or a relationship outcome. Verification and application approval are not an endorsement of a member's character, conduct, wealth or compatibility.
