Terms of Use and Membership

1. Agreement and operator

Aurelia is a trading name of ISLA CAPITAL LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13116404, with its registered office at 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, England, W1W 5PF.

By using Aurelia, you agree to these terms and any community or safety standards presented to you. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Notice explains how we use personal information.

2. Eligibility

To apply for or use Aurelia, you must:

• be at least 18 years old;
• have legal capacity to enter into these terms;
• apply only for yourself and maintain no more than one account;
• provide information that is accurate and genuinely your own;
• not be prohibited by law from using the service; and
• not have been removed or banned from Aurelia unless we have expressly permitted you to return.

We may ask for information or checks reasonably needed to confirm eligibility, authenticity or compliance with these terms.

3. Applications and membership

Submitting a membership request or application does not guarantee approval. Every completed application is considered by an Aurelia reviewer. We may approve, decline, defer or ask for more information at our discretion, subject to applicable law.

Membership is personal and cannot be sold, transferred or shared. Access to particular profiles or introductions is never guaranteed, and the number and location of members will change over time.

Approval and Full Membership are separate. Approval means we have accepted an application, but it does not by itself activate an account, unlock member features, publish a profile or authorise a payment. A member becomes an Approved Member when Aurelia opens in their preferred location. Being an Approved Member permits entry to the members' area, browsing and profile visibility according to the member's chosen settings, but it does not permit the member to send, accept or respond to Introductions. We may notify an Approved Member of an Introduction request, but they cannot respond until Full Membership is enabled.

Full Membership includes everything available to an Approved Member and unlocks Introductions and the other benefits included with the membership after the required identity and current-photo checks are complete. Completed verification is shown on the profile and confirms only the checks identified. Profile visibility remains a separate member choice.

Applying is complimentary. Women’s Full Membership is complimentary. Approved male Founding Members receive 3 months of Full Membership without payment, beginning after Aurelia has opened in their preferred location and the required identity and current-photo checks are complete, with no automatic renewal. This includes the same core experience as a paid subscription after verification, together with the applicable Founding Member benefits. Current prices for men are published on the Membership page, and the price, renewal terms and any cancellation rights will be shown clearly before a charge is authorised. No payment is taken merely by submitting a membership request.

Aurelia may offer a one-time complimentary extension where launch availability has been unusually limited. Any extension is discretionary, is not guaranteed and does not renew automatically.

4. Your account

You are responsible for:

• keeping your login details confidential;
• not allowing anyone else to use your account;
• keeping your profile and contact information accurate;
• using visibility and privacy settings appropriate to you; and
• telling us promptly about suspected unauthorised access.

5. Member conduct

Aurelia is intended for genuine dating and relationships between consenting adults. You must communicate honestly, respect consent and boundaries, and comply with applicable law.

You must not use Aurelia to:

• impersonate someone, misrepresent material facts or use content you do not have the right to use;
• harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, exploit or discriminate against another person;
• promote or arrange prostitution, trafficking, commercial sexual services or compensated intimacy;
• request or offer money, gifts or financial support as a condition of sexual activity or companionship;
• commit fraud, solicit investments, collect bank or password information, or operate a romance or advance-fee scam;
• advertise a business, recruit, conduct research or send spam without our written permission;
• upload unlawful, abusive, hateful, exploitative, explicit or non-consensual content;
• involve, depict, seek or communicate sexually with anyone under 18; or
• scrape, copy, reverse engineer, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service or another member’s information.

6. Profiles, photos and other content

You retain ownership of content you provide. You give ISLA CAPITAL LTD a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt for technical display, moderate and show that content only as needed to operate, protect and improve Aurelia. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except where a copy must temporarily remain for safety, dispute, backup or legal reasons.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions for anything you upload, and that your content does not violate another person’s privacy, intellectual property or other rights.

We may review, restrict or remove content that breaches these terms or creates a legal, security or safety risk. Reporting volume alone does not determine whether content or an account is removed.

7. Verification

A verification badge confirms only the specific check named by the badge. Verification is not an endorsement, comprehensive background check or guarantee of identity, honesty, intentions, compatibility or future conduct. A wealth badge confirms only that Aurelia reviewed evidence that the member holds substantial personal wealth; it names no amount and does not verify any statement a member makes on their profile.

8. Interactions and safety

Aurelia introduces adults; it is not a party to relationships or meetings between members. You are responsible for your decisions and interactions, including activity that moves outside the service.

Use reasonable care. Protect personal and financial information, keep early conversations on Aurelia, meet in public initially, tell someone you trust about a first meeting and report concerning behaviour. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact the local emergency services before contacting Aurelia.

9. Suspension, termination and appeals

You may pause or end your membership and may request account deletion. Marketing can be unsubscribed from separately without ending a membership request or account.

We may warn, restrict, suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, there is a safety or legal concern, information is false, payment is due, or action is needed to protect members or the service. Urgent risk may result in temporary suspension while we investigate.

Suspended or banned members will receive a reason category and an appeal route where an appeal is available. We may preserve limited records after termination where reasonably necessary for appeals, legal obligations, fraud prevention or re-registration blocking.

10. The service and Aurelia materials

We may change, improve, restrict or discontinue parts of the service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every fault will be corrected immediately.

The Aurelia name, marks, site design, software and editorial materials belong to ISLA CAPITAL LTD or its licensors. These terms do not give you permission to use them except as necessary for your personal use of the service.

11. Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

To the extent permitted by law, Aurelia is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these terms, for business losses arising from personal use, or for the conduct, statements or omissions of another member. We do not guarantee that a member will be suitable, compatible or safe.

You remain responsible for information you share and for evaluating whether to communicate with, meet or enter a relationship with another person.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to Aurelia, the law or our safety requirements. The latest version will be published here. Where a change materially affects existing members, we will provide reasonable notice and request acceptance where required.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms and any non-contractual dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although consumers may retain mandatory rights to bring proceedings in another court under applicable law.
