1. Who this applies to
Aurelia is a trading name of ISLA CAPITAL LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 13116404. This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions and applies to visitors, applicants and members, whether membership is complimentary or paid.
It covers applications, profiles, public profile pages where enabled, photos, messages, Introductions, Private Invitations and other use of the service. Privacy settings and private conversations do not exempt anyone from these rules. Conduct outside Aurelia involving people met through the service may also lead to action where it creates a safety risk or breaches these rules.
2. Adults and authenticity
You must be at least 18 to apply for or use Aurelia. Apply only for yourself, keep your information accurate and use only one account. Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your age or identity, submit false verification evidence or return after a ban without our express permission.
Respect consent and boundaries. Follow the service’s contact rules, accept declined requests and ended conversations, and never evade a block or pressure someone to communicate, meet or share information or media.
3. Prohibited conduct
You must not use Aurelia to arrange, promote, facilitate or participate in:
- Prostitution, escort services, commercial sexual services, trafficking, sexual exploitation or compensated intimacy.
- Offers or requests for money, gifts, financial support or anything of value as a condition of sexual activity or companionship, including paid dates and transactional arrangements.
- Any involvement of minors in dating or sexual activity, grooming, or child sexual abuse or exploitation material, including synthetic or manipulated depictions.
- Harassment, stalking, threats, violence, coercion, blackmail, extortion, hate or discriminatory abuse.
- Romance scams, advance-fee fraud, investment solicitation, phishing, requests for passwords or banking credentials, or other deception intended to obtain money or information.
- Unlawful activity, the sale of illegal goods or services, or encouragement or assistance of any of these activities.
- Unapproved advertising, recruitment, fundraising, research, commercial solicitation or spam.
Generosity may be part of a relationship. Aurelia is not a marketplace for transactional dating or compensated companionship. Moving a prohibited arrangement to another service does not make it acceptable.
4. Content and privacy
Upload or share only content you have the right and permission to use. Do not post or send unlawful, pornographic, sexually explicit, abusive, hateful, exploitative or non-consensual content. This includes intimate images shared without consent, threats to share them and manipulated sexual images of another person.
Do not expose another person’s identity, contact details, location, private profile, messages or media without permission. Permission to view a profile or private photo does not permit copying, recording, publishing or redistributing it. Do not infringe anyone’s privacy, intellectual property or other rights.
5. Service security
Do not share or sell accounts, scrape or harvest member information, use unauthorised bots or automation, upload malicious software, reverse engineer the service, gain unauthorised access, or bypass security, verification, payment, moderation or visibility controls. Do not disrupt the service or misuse reporting tools to target others.
6. Reporting concerns
Use the reporting and blocking tools where available, or email hello@aurelia.dating with the subject “Safety concern”. Include the relevant profile identifier or link, approximate dates and a description so we can locate the concern.
Do not download, copy or forward suspected child sexual abuse material. Report its location instead. Do not send identity documents, intimate images or other sensitive evidence by ordinary email; we will discuss an appropriate way to provide evidence if needed.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Aurelia’s reporting tools and email are not emergency services. Our Trust & Safety page explains our approach to reports and member safety.
7. Enforcement and appeals
We review reports and relevant evidence and may request further information. Depending on the circumstances, action can include removing content, a warning, restricting features, suspending access or ending membership. Credible immediate risk may result in suspension while a report is investigated. Reporting volume alone does not determine the outcome.
We may preserve relevant information and report suspected unlawful activity or disclose information to authorities where legally required or otherwise lawful and appropriate. Our Law Enforcement Protocols explain how requests are assessed.
If you believe a restriction or removal was mistaken, email hello@aurelia.dating with the subject “Moderation appeal”, your account email and any decision reference or relevant explanation. Appeals are considered separately and can uphold, reduce or reverse the original decision. Do not create a new account to bypass a restriction.
